Gotane is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 25 kilometres (16 mi) from sub district headquarter and 25 kilometres (16 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 633 houses and a population of 3245 of which 1677 are males while 1568 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 92 people are from Schedule Caste and 400 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
