Leena Gangopadhyay is an Indian writer, producer, and director, primarily associated with the Tollywood film industry. She currently serves as the Chairperson of West Bengal Commission for Women.[1][2] She and Saibal Banerjee are also the founder of the production house Magic Moments Motion Pictures. She has also written many popular serials. Her notable works include Ishti Kutum, Jol Nupur, Binni Dhaner Khoi, Keya Patar Nouka, Chokher Tara Tui, Ichche Nodee, Punyi Pukur, Kusum Dola etc. Currently, Sreemoyee, Mohor, Khorkuto, Desher Maati, Dhulokona, Sundari, Thoda Saa Baadal Thoda Saa Paani and Roja are the running serials.
