Nilgavhan is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 92 kilometres (57 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 246 houses and a population of 998 of which 508 are males while 490 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 17 people are from Schedule Caste and 288 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
