Sukapur is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 34 kilometres (21 mi) from sub district headquarter and 87 kilometres (54 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 1010 houses and a population of 5086 of which 2598 are males while 2488 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 1 people are from Schedule Caste and 5053 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
