Jaitane is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 19 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 2483 houses and a population of 12515 of which 6427 are males while 6088 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 582 people are from Schedule Caste and 1519 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
