Thalner is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from sub district headquarter and 75 kilometres (47 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 2490 houses and a population of 11442 of which 5835 are males while 5607 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 1019 people are from Schedule Caste and 3627 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
