Jaitpur is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 67 kilometres (42 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 165 houses and a population of 697 of which 356 are males while 341 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 39 people are from Schedule Caste and 191 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
