Jatode is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from sub district headquarter and 69 kilometres (43 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit | edit source]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 471 houses and a population of 2447 of which 1264 are males while 1183 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 45 people are from Schedule Caste and 800 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
