Waghadi is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 63 kilometres (39 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 1241 houses and a population of 6002 of which 3106 are males while 2896 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 545 people are from Schedule Caste and 1040 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
