Ukalapani is a village in Nawapur tehsil in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 76 kilometres (47 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 89 houses and a population of 338 of which 166 are males while 172 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 334 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
