Nagaon is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 226 houses and a population of 1090 of which 553 are males while 537 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 110 people are from Schedule Caste and 266 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
