Shinde is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 664 houses and a population of 2958 of which 1470 are males while 1488 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 44 people are from Schedule Caste and 1743 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
