Warud is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 38 kilometres (24 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 961 houses and a population of 4503 of which 2337 are males while 2166 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 416 people are from Schedule Caste and 895 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
