Sawar is a village in Talode in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 24 kilometres (15 mi) from sub district headquarter and 62 kilometres (39 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 74 houses and a population of 388 of which 193 are males while 195 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 1 people are from Schedule Caste and 381 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
