Kathi is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 36 kilometres (22 mi) from sub district headquarter and 86 kilometres (53 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 712 houses and a population of 3722 of which 1872 are males while 1850 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 42 people are from Schedule Caste and 3606 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
