Welkhadi is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 61 kilometres (38 mi) from sub district headquarter and 106 kilometres (66 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 57 houses and a population of 289 of which 143 are males while 146 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 289 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
