Bairagi Brahmin is a Hindu caste. There is a citation about a Bairagi Brahmin in Mahabharata. Babruvahana son of Arjuna and Chitrāngadā, wanted to dig a pond. But unfortunately water did not come out. When a Bairagi Brahmin reached the centre of pond then water came out of the pond.[1]
