Sorapada is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 22 kilometres (14 mi) from sub district headquarter and 50 kilometres (31 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1] As of 2009, The village has a total number of 437 houses and the population of 2111 of which 1076 are males while 1035 are females.[1]
