Khatwani is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from sub district headquarter and 45 kilometres (28 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1] As of 2009, The village has a total number of 413 houses and the population of 1817 of which 894 are males while 923 are females.[1]
