Sonapati is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from sub district headquarter and 50 kilometres (31 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1] As of 2009, The village has a total number of 242 houses and the population of 1107 of which 562 are males while 545 are females.[1]
