Barisugas is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 43 kilometres (27 mi) from sub district headquarter and 95 kilometres (59 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1] As of 2009, The village has a total number of 110 houses and the population of 609 of which 294 are males while 315 are females.[1]
