Jangathi is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 70 kilometres (43 mi) from sub district headquarter and 116 kilometres (72 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1] As of 2009, The village has a total number of 344 houses and the population of 2165 of which 1137 are males while 1028 are females.[1]
