Shillong is a city in the northeastern part of India and the capital of Meghalaya, India.[1]It is also known as the ‘Scotland of the East’, because of its misty clouds and luscious greenery.[2]According to the 2011 census it is the 330th most populous city in India with a population of 143,229.[3][4]Shillong is well known for it's climate, waterfalls, and hills. It also receives a high amount of rainfall throughout the year.[5]
