Siddhanta Mahapatra
Siddhanta Mahapatra (born 4 May 1966)[1] is an Indian film actor known professionally as Sidhu/Muna Bhai, is an Indian actor, producer and distributer. Referred to Worldwide by his fans as "Dynamic Star" for his roles in action films, who works predominantly in Odia, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu film industry. while also performing in a few Marathi,Punjabi,Malayalam and Bhojpuri. Siddhanta has acted in more than 150 movies, with most of them being lead roles. He is one of few Indian actors to attract fan following from multiple states of India. He has produced and distributed many movies under his own venture Omm Divya Vision Motion Picture. He is the only actor of Ollywood to have won seven Odisha State Film Awards during 2000-2010

Early life
Siddhanta was born in a Brahmin family at Brahmapur, Odisha.[2] He completed his schooling from St. Vincent's Convent School, Berhampur, and did his under graduation (known as Plus-Two in Odisha) from D.D. College, Keonjhar and graduation in commerce from Rairangpur College (North Odisha University),Mayurbhanj . He completed his master's degree from the Institute of Marketing and Management, Delhi. Both his father, Dr. Manmohan Mohapatra, and his mother are doctors. He married to former actress Mama Mishra, and has a daughter Saisiddhi Mahapatra and son Saisamarth Mahapatra.
Career
His first Odia film came in 1992 at the age of 27 at the behest of his cousin brother. He has acted in more than 150 films. His debut film, Shradhanjali , starred Lekha Nanda as the female lead.[3]
Political career
He joined Biju Janata Dal in 2009 and contested as MP from Berhampur constituency in the 2009 "15th Lok Sabha" Election. He won the election and is the Member of Parliament for Berhampur constituency. He won the 2014 General election for the second time by a thumping margin of nearly 1 lakh votes amidst stiff competition from UPA and NDA and retained his seat.[4][5][6][7]
