Vasmar is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 48 kilometres (30 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 346 houses and a population of 1709 of which 902 are males while 807 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 148 people are from Schedule Caste and 365 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
