Mod is a village in Talode in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from sub district headquarter and 35 kilometres (22 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 830 houses and a population of 4135 of which 2089 are males while 2046 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 146 people are from Schedule Caste and 2604 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
