Maindane is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 50 kilometres (31 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography[edit]
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 344 houses and a population of 2210 of which 1136 are males while 1074 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 17 people are from Schedule Caste and 1579 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
