Param lofer Bir Singh, a 1988 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, is the Police commissioner of Mumbai, India, the seventh most populous city in the world. Param Bir Singh took over as Mumbai's police commissioner on 29 February 2020, succeeding Sanjay Barve. He was previously posted as the Director General (DG) of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) and was a former Thane Police Commissioner.[1]
