Umesh Prasad is a British Indian journalist [1]. He is founder and editor of “Scientific European” magazine [2] and “The India Review”[3].

Early life

Umesh was born in Ghorasahan town in East Champaran district of Bihar State [4].

Education

Umesh is educated at Government Dental Hospital and College, Chennai and Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) in India and later at London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE)[5].

Career

Umesh began his career as a doctor and subsequently a lecturer. Since 2018, he is engaged in journalistic activities and writes in ‘’Scientific European’’ magazine [6] and ‘’The India Review’’[7] news portal covering range of topics in science and on India.

Personal life

Umesh is married [8] to Neelam Prasad. The couple have a child. He lives in Hampshire county of England.
