Mel Sangave is a village in Muktainagar in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 60 kilometres (37 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 375 houses and a population of 1560 of which 797 are males while 763 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 220 people are from Schedule Caste and 283 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
