Pralay is a solid-fuel surface-to-surface guided Short-range ballistic missile for battlefield use developed by the DRDO of India.[4][1][5] The missile is based on Prithvi Defence Vehicle from Indian Ballistic Missile Defence Programme.[1] The project to develop Pralay was sanctioned in March 2015 with a budget of 332.88 crore (equivalent to 404 crore or US$46 million in 2019).[6]
