Gagi is a small village in Kanke blocks of Ranchi, India. It has a population of 2943. 90% of this village are literate.

Attractions[edit]

In western part of the village there is a small hill, which has a small fountain named Dhakni Paani. Water from the fountain flows even in the driest of seasons.

Administration[edit]

This village is also the headquarters of the panchayat of the same name.

Economy[edit]

Its economy is dominated by agriculture, but nowadays due to its proximity to the Kanke urban belt, it is developing at a fast pace.
