Krithi Shetty (born 21 September 2003)[1] is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Telugu films. She made her film debut with Uppena (2021).

Early life

Krithi Shetty was born on 21 September 2003 in Mumbai,[2] in a family hailing from Manglore, Karnataka.[3][4] Her father is a businessman while her mother is a fashion designer.[2] Shetty was brought up in Mumbai and is studying psychology at an Open University.[5][6] While studying, Shetty also worked in commercial ads.[4]

Career

Following a brief appearance in the Hindi film Super 30,[7] Shetty made her debut in a lead role at age of 17, with the Telugu film Uppena directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film was commercially successful at the box office by collecting over ₹100 crore.[8][9][10]

As of March 2021, she is shooting for Shyam Singha Roy opposite Nani, and Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti, co-starring Sudheer Babu.[11][12] Shetty has also signed on to appear opposite Ram Pothineni in an untitled film directed by N. Lingusamy.[13]
