Degaon is a village in Sindkhede in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 28 kilometres (17 mi) from sub district headquarter and 58 kilometres (36 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 504 houses and a population of 2525 of which 1253 are males while 1272 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 313 people are from Schedule Caste and 922 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
