Balaghat is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 41 kilometres (25 mi) from sub district headquarter and 86 kilometres (53 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1] As of 2009, The village has a total number of 260 houses and a population of 1224 of which 585 are males while 639 are females.[1]
