Super Kudumbam (Super Family) is a 2001 Tamil comedy film directed by R. K. Kalaimani, starring Prabhu Ganesan, Roja, Alex, Pratyusha, Vinu Chakravarthy, and Vivek. The music is composed by Adithyan.[1]
Plot
Arun (Prabhu Ganesan) and Hari (Vivek) are close friends and bank employees. Arun and Abhirami (Prathyusha) fall in love with each other. Shanthi (Roja) is a pickpocket who accidentally comes across Arun. Arun and Shanthi act as husband and wife to get a home for rent and also to impress the father of Hari's lover, who supports inter-caste marriage. After Hari lover's father proposes marriage between Hari and his daughter when tricked they arrange a grand ring exchanging reception. After accidentally get drunk in the party thinking it is Abirami Arun rapes Shanthi due to this she becomes pregnant and i is revealed during the marriage of Hari. After many events, he accepts Shanthi along with her sister's children whom she foster cares.
