Ambapur is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from sub district headquarter and 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 273 houses and a population of 1380 of which 704 are males while 676 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 1 people are from Schedule Caste and 1373 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
