Moirang Thoibi (Meitei: ꯃꯣꯏꯔꯥꯡ ꯊꯣꯏꯕꯤ; Old Manipuri: ꯃꯣꯢꯂꯥꯪ ꯊꯣꯢꯄꯤ) or Ewanglon Thoibi (Meitei: ꯏꯋꯥꯡꯂꯣꯟ ꯊꯣꯏꯕꯤ; Old Manipuri: ꯏꯋꯥꯪꯂꯣꯟ ꯊꯣꯢꯄꯤ) is one of the principal characters in the ancient Moirang Kangleirol legends.[1][2] She is a princess of the Moirang kingdom,[3] daughter of Chingkhuba and the niece of the king of Moirang.[4][5][6] She is a lady love of Khuman Khamba, a poor orphan prince.[7][8][9][10]
