Khamba Thoibi Jagoi
"Khamba Thoibi Jagoi" (Meitei: ꯈꯝꯕ ꯊꯣꯢꯕꯤ ꯖꯒꯣꯢ) (Khamba Thoibi Dance) is a folk dance form, originated from the Ancient Moirang kingdom of Manipur.[1][2][3] It is a duet of male and female partners, dedicated to Lord Thangjing, the presiding deity of Ancient Moirang.[4][5][6]
The dance form is believed to be first performed by Khuman Khamba and Moirang Thoibi, in the premise of the deity.[7][8][9]
