Template:WikiProject status {{Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Navigation}} Some Wikipedians have formed a project to improve organisation and standardised look and feel of articles related to the Indian state of Mizoram.
If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list there.
New articles page contains articles that may be Mizoram related. Please add this page your watchlist and monitor the articles.
Scope[edit source]
The scope of this article fundamentally is loosely defined as all articles and sections relating to Mizoram. Almost all of these will be (eventually) categorised under Category:Mizoram and Category:India
Goals[edit source]
- Creation of a generally standard look and feel for all Mizoram-related articles.
- To produce as many Featured Articles as possible related to Mizoram.
Participants[edit source]
Active members[edit source]
To join WikiProject Mizoram, edit this section and add the Wikitext #{{subst:me}} with your areas of interest to the bottom of the following list of members. Members should also place member identification on their user page.

Naming conventions[edit source]
Chieftainship naming conventions[edit source]
- In the previous scope of articles on chieftainship it was a de-facto method to write articles in the English names of the chiefs recorded under the British. Now Mizo names are used primarily. Articles with English names of Mizo chiefs can be used if there is no standardised Mizo spelling. However, like Vanhnuailiana and Suakpuilala, the Mizo spelling of names should be priotized.
- This convention can be changed with a discussion on the policy.
Structure[edit source]
Refer to
- Bharatpedia:WikiProject_Indian_states#Sections for state articles
- Bharatpedia:WikiProject_Indian_districts#Sections for district articles
- Bharatpedia:WikiProject_Indian_cities#Sections for city articles
WikiProject Mizoram notice[edit source]
Place this WikiProject notice {{WikiProject India}} at the top of an article's Talk page to direct editors to the WikiProject Mizoram for guidelines.
To use it, place {{WikiProject India|mizoram=yes|mizoram-importance=}} at the top of an article's Talk page. It will produce:
| WikiProject India / Mizoram | (Rated Project-class) | |||||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
{{#assessment:India/WikiProject Mizoram|Project|NA}}
|

{{#assessment:India|Project|NA}}
