Plot
Zamindar Raghunath Rao, a devout worshipper of Hanuman, offers his family's heirloom jewelry during Hanuman Jayanthi. Meanwhile, three villains—Maharaj, Sardar, and Jaisingh—rob and murder Raghunath Rao, his wife Annapurna, and the temple priest. Their son, Raja, undertakes severe penance, and Hanuman grants him supernatural powers, transforming him into a superhero.

Plot
Years later, Raja uses his powers discreetly to help the public while concealing his true identity. He starts a mining business with Bangarayya and falls in love with Bangarayya's daughter, Jaya. The three villains, now involved in criminal activities, pose a threat to the region. Raja first eliminates Jaisingh, then discovers Maharaj's attempt to exploit gold deposits in the mine by creating a fake demon threat. Raja confronts and defeats Sardar.
Raja (N. T. Rama Rao) is the son of Zamindar Raghunath Rao (Kanta Rao), the entire family are great devotees of Lord Hanuman (Arja Janardhana Rao). In his childhood, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi, Raghunath Rao wants to offer their heritage jewelry to the deity. At the same time, three thieves, Maharaj (Satyanarayana), Sardar (Srilanka Manohar) and Jaisingh (Tyagaraju) steal the jewelry and kill Raghunath Rao along with his wife Annapurna (Annapoorna) and the temple priest. Raja and the priest's family are left orphaned. So, Raja takes care of them as his own mother and sister. But Raja is struggling to take revenge against the three traitors. So, he prays to Lord Hanuman; with his blessings, Raja acquires supernatural powers and becomes a Superman. Raja's foster mother Sarada (Pandari Bai) detects it, and she takes an oath from him that he should not reveal it out. Years roll by, Raja always utilizes his power to help others but hides his identity. Raja undertakes mining business along with Bangariah (Allu Ramalingaiah) and falls in love with his daughter Jaya (Jaya Prada). The three traitors are still performing the anti-social and illegal activities. First, Raja eliminates Jaisingh. After that, Maharaj comes to know that there is gold in Raja & Bangariah's mine, which they have not known. So, they want to grab that mine when they create rumors that there are demons in that mining area and do not allow anyone to work. Raja discovers their plan, and in that process, he eliminates Sardar too.
Meanwhile, Raja's sister Lakshmi (Geeta) loves a guy, Mohan (Chakrapani), and becomes pregnant. Here Raja decides to make her marriage with Mohan. But unfortunately, Mohan is the son of Maharaj, and he meets Raja in disguise as Dharma Rao, takes Raja's share in the mine as dowry and flees away along with son Mohan. Now Lakshmi tries to commit suicide, and Raja protects her giving an assurance that he will bring Mohan back. Knowing that they are in Hong Kong, Raja moves.
Meanwhile, Bangariah & Jaya also reaches there to sell the remaining mine due to the luring of Maharaj. Maharaj keeps Bangariah in his custody and tries to grab the mine forcibly. But Jaya escapes when Raja safeguards her. Simultaneously, Maharaj tries to kill Raja on several occasions, but Raja breaks his each and every plan. Ultimately, he sends a sorceress, Lee (Jayamalini) who uses her black magic on Raja, but she too is destroyed. At last, Raja recognizes Maharaj as the 3rd traitor, so, he eliminates him also, brings back Mohan and performs his marriage with Lakshmi. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Raja & Jaya.
