| Hyderali Shihab Thangal is a member of the [[Pukkoya family of Panakkad|Pukkoya family]] of [[Panakkad]], [[Malappuram district|Malappuram]]. He is the third son of [[Pukkoya Tangal|P. M. S. A. Pookkoya Thangal]] (d. 1975) and the younger brother of [[Panakkad Sayeed Mohammedali Shihab Thangal|Sayed Mohammedali Shihab Thangal]] and [[Sayed Umerali Shihab Thangal]].<ref>{{Cite web|last=Nijeesh|first=T.
