| A native of [[Pakistan]], [[Anwar ul Haq Kakar|Anwar ul Haq]] started his political career in 2008. In 2013, he was elected on the ticket of the N League.

| Kakar received his primary education from St. Francis School, [[Quetta]] and later enrolled in [[Cadet College Kohat]]. He has a Master's degree in political science and sociology from [[University of Balochistan]]. He started his career by teaching at a school in his native town.

| Anwar ul Haq belongs to [[Kakar]] tribe of [[Pashtuns]] who are primarily scattered across Northern [[Balochistan, Pakistan|Balochistan]]. Beside political activism, Kakar is also involved with various think tanks formulating Pakistan's foreign policy. Kakar is a keen observer of the geopolitics of South Asia, especially, Afghanistan-Pakistan relations.
