==Reception==
Reviewing the film for ''[[Deccan Herald]]'', a critic wrote that "Despite a catchy title, ''Romeo Juliet'' seems to have failed to attract the film buffs. First and foremost the movie appears to be a duplicate of ''Ninagagi'' though both the films were made almost simultaneously by different directors".<ref>{{cite web |title=FILM REVIEWS: Romeo Juliet (Kannada) |url=http://www.deccanherald.com/deccanherald/oct13/filmr.asp |access-date=26 September 2023 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20021213013609/http://www.deccanherald.com/deccanherald/oct13/filmr.asp |archive-date=13 December 2002 |date=13 October 2002 |url-status=dead|last=Ronnie|work=[[Deccan Herald]]}}</ref>
