| == Plot ==
| |
| Bhaskar and his cousin Janardhan "Jana" visit a small town in Arunachal Pradesh as part of a road-building project. They meet two natives named Jomin and Panda , who show them around. Bhaskar is chased and bitten by a wolf in the wild one night. Jana and Jomin quickly transport him to Dr. Anika, the local veterinarian. Seeing the large bite mark on Bhaskar's back and his obvious discomfort, she administers an injection in the hopes of relieving his suffering.

| The next day, Bhaskar begins to see changes inside himself. He has heightened senses of smell and hearing, and he communicates with animals. Meanwhile, the locals and tribals are opposed to the idea of cutting down trees in woods to build roads and refuse to support it. However, Bhaskar is able to gain the backing of the youth, who agree to the scheme. Soon after, two persons who were involved in the project are discovered dead. The scratch and bite marks on their bodies indicate that they were mauled and killed by an animal. Panda claims that the killings are the work of a shape-shifting [[werewolf]], but no one believes him.

| Jana assumes Bhaskar is the shape-shifting werewolf based on his increasingly weird behaviour. Jana and Jomin steal some of Bhaskar's stools to run a stool test and discover that human bone fragments were found in Bhaskar's stools. It is revealed that Bhaskar is really the perpetrator of the crimes, as he tells them that he has been transforming into a werewolf every night since being bitten by the wolf, and that he has no control over it.

| They decide to confine Bhaskar in a remote location so that he does not succumb to his own desires. However, a local cop notices them and learns the truth, threatening to divulge Bhaskar's name to everyone. The wolf that had bitten Bhaskar then appears and kills the cop, allowing them to flee. They go to an elderly doctor in try to discover a treatment for Bhaskar's ailment. He informs them that the only way for Bhaskar to be cured of his metamorphosis is for him to be bitten by the same wolf on a new moon night in the same location as before.

| Bhaskar walks to the forest with Jana and Jomin, wearing protective gear all over his body save his rear end, where he has to be bitten by the wolf, and waits for the wolf to emerge. They are surprised to realise that the wolf is none other than Dr. Anika, who is also a shape-shifter. She reveals that she was bitten by a wolf around a century ago. She has been the forest's protector since then, murdering anybody who attempted to ruin the forest and its trees. She had bitten Bhaskar with the intention of killing him, but she had spared him because she sensed kindness within him. She advises him to avoid [[deforestation]] and its consequences.

| Anika, suddenly, is shot down and captured by the local police force. Bhaskar transforms into a werewolf and rescues Anika, killing the policemen. However, Anika succumbs to her injuries and falls off a cliff, leaving Bhaskar heartbroken. He decides to work on constructing the roads, but around the borders of the forest, leaving the trees unharmed.
