During the [[Kaliamman Kovil]] festival we peoples of Ayyampatti gather together and celebrate the [[Pongal (festival)|Pongal]] festival. On the first day of Pongal - that is Tuesday - the grown mulaipari are taken to the temple and then religious procedures were performed. And after that the girls perform the kummi-dance of ancient Tamils. The agnichatti which roams around the village for giving blesses to the Arulmigu Kaliamman Devotees along with the agnichatti the boys group called KING BOYS performs some dances in front of the agnichatti this is a single time enjoyment of us. All the guest who came to our village are very much willing to participate in this event but our village has some restrictions for our guest too for avoiding some quarrels and fighting between some social elements. On the second day i.e., Wednesday morning exactly at 4 am the ladies of ayyampatti gather in front of the Temple for making pongal after that sacrificing the goat to the goddess takes place. In the afternoon of Wednesday we celebrate MANJAL NEERATTU festival. for this we bring drums to rock the village and then we visit each and every street of the village and we apply manjal to mappillai and mamas to celebrate the festival and then that overs by the end of the day. at that night the boys of Ayyampatti performs oyilattam and then followed by girls kummi.

On Thursday the various games are conducted and prizes are distributed. at night the dance group is arranged by the KING BOYS to entertain the village people and guests.
