Attili is a village in the Attili mandal of the Bhimavaram revenue division in the West Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1] It is headquarters of the mandal and belongs to the Tanuku (Assembly constituency). Attili has its own train station.

Rajahmundry district was formed in 1823 and in 1859 bifurcated into Godavari District and Krishna district. In 1925, Godavari district was split into East Godavari district and West Godavari district.[2][3]
The reorganisation of the districts in 2022 increased the number of districts in Andhra Pradesh from 13 to 26.[4]
Demographics[edit | edit source]
As of 2011[update] Census of India, Attili had a population of 25004. The total population constitute, 12509 males and 12495 females with a sex ratio of 999 females per 1000 males. 2315 children are in the age group of 0–6 years, with sex ratio of 928. The average literacy rate stands at 78.82%.[5]
