After petty misunderstandings, Mahesh and Gauri put the quarrel behind them and fall in love anew, but it will be difficult to convince her father for their marriage as Mahesh is way below Dhanaji's social status. In a bid to overcome Dhanaji's resistance, Mahesh seeks the aid of his childhood friend, Ashok Gupchup ([[Ashok Saraf]]), by disguising him as his elderly, estranged father and a millionaire so that Dhanaji approves his marriage. Dhum Dhadaka is a 1985 Indian Marathi-language comedy film written by Annasahab Deolgaonkar and directed and produced by Mahesh Kothare under the banner of Jenma Films International. Released in Maharashtra on 19 August 1985, the film stars an ensemble cast of Ashok Saraf, Mahesh Kothare, Laxmikant Berde, Nivedita Joshi Saraf, Surekha Rane, Prema Kiran and Sharad Talwalkar.[1] [2]
Synopsis
