Bhanumati was the wife of Emperor [[Kanishka III]] and mother of his son, [[Vasudeva II]]. She is the first Empress to be known as the wife of [[Kanishka III]]. After her, her son, [[Vasudeva II]] also had a wife who became the Empress after Bhanumati. Her father was a king named Bhagyasena, who considered his daughter, Bhanumati's marriage with [[Kanishka III]].
