Mariathaipuram is a village located in Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, India. There is a Catholic Church which very famous in Palayamkottai Diocese. Rev.Bishop Irudayaraj used to come for every year for the feast Mass at August 15. The people live together and mainly involved in agricultural activities. A new church was constructed during leadership of Amalraj Santhiyagappan and Royappan Teacher.
